Minimum Qualification
B.Pharm Degree and registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as a Pharmacist
Experience Required
Grade-dependent (0 to 13+ years) in Clinical Pharmacy and Stock Management

Requirements
- Grade 1: None (post-community service)
- Grade 2: 5 years post-registration experience
- Grade 3: 13 years post-registration experience
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage the pharmaceutical supply chain including ordering, receipt, and clinical disposal of stock
- Provide expert pharmaceutical care in alignment with SAPC guidelines and National Drug Policy
- Oversee the financial and administrative management of the clinic pharmacy
- Promote rational drug use and lead antibiotic stewardship initiatives
- Prepare, compound, and dispense prescriptions with accurate labeling and patient counseling
- Maintain rigorous control of Schedule 5 and 6 drug registers
- Conduct clinical ward rounds and emergency trolley inspections across district clinics
- Supervise Pharmacist Assistants and act as the Responsible Pharmacist for facility registration requirements
