Experience Required
Grade-dependent (0 to 13+ years) in Pharmaceutical Support and Stock Distribution

- Proficiency in pharmaceutical stock management and procurement
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management and interpersonal relations
- Ability to work under pressure and within a multi-disciplinary team
- Basic computer literacy
- Understanding of SAPC regulations and PHC pharmaceutical protocols
Requirements
- Grade 1: None (post-registration)
- Grade 2: Minimum 5 years appropriate experience
- Grade 3: Minimum 13 years appropriate experience after registration with SAPC
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Procure, store, and distribute medical stock throughout the clinical facility to ensure availability
- Provide optimal counseling to patients regarding their medication and usage
- Advise facility staff on medicine usage, relative costs, and cost-effective pharmaceutical practices
- Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical support services to Primary Health Care (PHC) facilities in the district
- Assist in the collection of clinical data and information for research purposes
- Provide essential technical and administrative support to the District Pharmacist
Salary Detail
Remunaration
- Grade 1: R264750 PER ANNUM.
- Grade 2: R306411 PER ANNUM.
- Grade 3: R330540 PER ANNUM.
