- Proficiency in the PERSAL system
- Knowledge of the Public Service Act and Public Service Regulations
- Understanding of Recruitment and Selection best practices
- Basic HR Planning and Information Management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel records.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a Human Resource Management environment
- Proven experience in recruitment and selection administration
- Hands-on experience with the PERSAL system is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Facilitate and coordinate the end-to-end recruitment and selection process including advertising, shortlisting, and interviews
- Oversee the appointment and probation processes for new employees to ensure compliance with departmental policy
- Capture and update the departmental staff establishment and employee personal information on the PERSAL system
- Administer personnel movements including transfers, secondments, grade progressions, and translations
- Facilitate the development and maintenance of Human Resource Planning frameworks and HR information systems
- Ensure the integrity of HR data for reporting and decision-making purposes.
