Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise the delivery of effective and efficient patient care within the General Surgery unit
- Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the implementation of specialized nursing care plans
- Provide health education and information to patients and relatives to facilitate rehabilitation and optimal health outcomes
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical nursing guidelines, standards, and SOPs
- Maintain professional and constructive relationships with multidisciplinary stakeholders
- Manage the effective utilization of human, financial, and physical resources within the ward
- Ensure compliance with the Nursing Act, Health Act, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations
- Oversee HR functions including performance management (PMDS), disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
