- Familiarity with Environmental Conservation Act, Road Ordinance Act, and SA Road Traffic Signs Manual
- Skills in the interpretation of OHS acts, regulations, and specifications
- Written and verbal communication proficiency
- MS Office computer literacy
- Problem solving and conflict management
- Valid driving licence (Code B).

- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in Occupational Health and Safety
- Compulsory registration with SACPCMP as an Occupational Health and Safety Officer.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Ensure total compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and related regulations within the component
- Implement strategies to reduce the severity and frequency of workplace injuries
- Develop and maintain comprehensive health and safety plans and promote organizational awareness
- Execute administrative functions related to occupational health and safety reporting and documentation.
