MBChB degree and MMed or FCPaed(SA) with HPCSA Sub-Specialist registration in Paediatric Neurology

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide advanced diagnostic and therapeutic clinical services within the Paediatric Neurology sub-specialty
  • Manage complex paediatric neurological cases and referrals requiring specialized medical intervention
  • Direct multidisciplinary teams to formulate comprehensive patient treatment and rehabilitation plans
  • Deliver academic instruction, bedside teaching, and formal lectures to medical students and registrars
  • Lead original clinical research, secure funding, and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
