Requirements
- Grade 1: No experience required after registration as a Sub-Specialist in Adult Nephrology
- Grade 2: Minimum of 5 years appropriate experience after registration as a Sub-Specialist in Adult Nephrology
- Grade 3: Minimum of 10 years appropriate experience after registration as a Sub-Specialist in Adult Nephrology
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Diagnose and manage clinical cases of hypertension and chronic kidney disease
- Administer and oversee various kidney replacement therapies and dialysis modalities
- Manage the full spectrum of kidney transplantation including evaluation and post-transplant care
- Perform specialized minor surgical procedures including kidney biopsies and catheter insertions
- Provide clinical outreach and virtual consultation services to satellite dialysis units
- Lead academic instruction and clinical training for medical students and registrars
- Conduct and supervise original research and clinical trials within the nephrology department
Salary Detail
Remunaration
- Grade 1: R1553670 - R1647630 PER ANNUM.
- Grade 2: R1773222 - R1881330 PER ANNUM.
- Grade 3: R1936806 - R2212680 PER ANNUM 148 ALL -INCLUSIVE PACKAGE CONSISTS OF 70% BASIC SALARY AND 30% FLEXIBLE PORTION THAT BE STRUCTURED IN TERMS OF THE APPLICABLE RULES, MEDICAL AID (OPTIONAL) EMPLOYEE MUST MEET THE PRESCRIBED REQUIREMENTS..
