Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The notes explicitly encourage practitioners completing their MMed to apply, provided you have submitted your research/dissertation and will have full specialist registration by the time of the interview.
This refers to a network of hospitals in the Pietermaritzburg area (including Harry Gwala Regional, Grey's, and Northdale) that share resources and specialist expertise. You may be required to rotate or manage portfolios across these sites.
While the text mentions 'Anaesthetic Department' in the requirements section, this appears to be a clerical error in the source document. Since the Job Title and Duties are exclusively for Paediatrics, the experience required refers to specialist Paediatric experience.
