Requirements
- Grade 1: No experience required after registration as a Medical Specialist
- Grade 2: Minimum of 5 years appropriate experience after registration as a Medical Specialist in O&G
- Grade 3: Minimum of 10 years appropriate experience after registration as a Medical Specialist in O&G
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide comprehensive clinical management for all obstetric and gynaecological conditions
- Perform advanced resuscitative measures and intensive care treatments for critically ill patients
- Lead clinical teams by supervising and training junior medical staff in key interventions
- Maintain rigorous medical records and medico-legal documentation to mitigate litigation risks
- Implement clinical governance frameworks and ensure compliance with OHSC, HPCSA, and CMSA standards
- Execute outreach and support services to healthcare facilities within the Free State drainage areas
- Conduct clinical audits and monitor effectiveness indicators to improve patient outcomes
- Perform compulsory commuted overtime duties as per departmental policy

Remunaration
- Grade 1: R1553670 - R1647630 PER ANNUM.
- Grade 2: R1773222 - R1881330 PER ANNUM GRADE3: R1936806 - R2212680 PER ANNUM ALL -INCLUSIVE PACKAGE CONSISTS OF 70% BASIC SALARY AND 30% FLEXIBLE PORTION THAT BE STRUCTURED IN TERMS OF THE APPLICABLE RULES, MEDICAL AID (OPTIONAL) EMPLOYEE MUST MEET THE PRESCRIBED REQUIREMENTS..
