Minimum Qualification

MBCHB or equivalent degree plus current registration with HPCSA as an Independent Practitioner

Experience Required

1-Year Post-Community Service in General Medicine / Clinical Specialties

Required Competencies & Skills

  • Clinical proficiency in general medicine and emergency procedures (ACLS, ATLS, APLS)
  • Ability to conduct and present clinical research
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and specialist training
  • Effective communication and teamwork in a clinical environment
  • Valid Driver's license for provincial outreach duties

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year post-community service experience preferably in a Free State Hospital
  • Must meet the criteria for entry into a Registrar training program in the relevant clinical domain

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Deliver specialized clinical services to inpatients, outpatients, day patients, and emergency units
  • Participate in academic teaching and training programs within the designated department
  • Conduct clinical research as part of specialist training requirements
  • Perform mandatory commuted overtime and clinical administrative duties
  • Execute outreach services to support regional healthcare facilities

Remunaration

R1001349 - R1046763 per annum, -inclusive package consists of 70% basic salary and 30% flexible portion that be structured in terms of the applicable rules, Medical Aid (Optional) Employee must meet the prescribed requirements.
