Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Serve as a strategic lead within the District Clinical Specialist Team to ensure quality healthcare delivery for maternal, neonatal, and child health
- Champion equitable access to appropriate clinical care levels for mothers and children across the district
- Drive clinical effectiveness by supporting outreach programs and implementing standard treatment guidelines aligned with national norms
- Facilitate professional development, training, and clinical mentorship for health professionals across all district facilities
- Collaborate with District Management to maintain surveillance systems, health information, and referral protocols
- Lead clinical risk management activities including critical event analysis and morbidity/mortality reviews
- Oversee the implementation of Maternal and Women's Health services, including BANC Plus and Contraceptive Planning
- Develop and implement clinical record audit tools in compliance with Office of the Health Standards Compliance (OHSC) requirements
