Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years recognizable nursing experience post-registration
- At least 5 years of appropriate experience at a management level within Primary Health Care (PHC)
- Valid driver's license
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide strategic clinical leadership within the District Clinical Specialist Team to ensure high-quality maternal and neonatal healthcare delivery
- Champion equitable access to Primary Health Care services for mothers and children across the district
- Drive clinical excellence by implementing national policies and standard treatment guidelines through facility outreach
- Facilitate the professional development and mentorship of PHC clinicians in maternal and women's health protocols
- Establish and optimize district-wide surveillance and health information systems for improved referral and communication
- Lead clinical risk management initiatives including morbidity/mortality meetings and critical event analysis
- Oversee the implementation of BANC Plus, contraceptive planning, and PMTCT programs within district facilities
- Develop clinical record audit tools in alignment with the Office of the Health Standards Compliance (OHSC) requirements
