Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Facilitate pre-contract negotiations and lead the drafting, vetting, and reviewing of various legal instruments including Contracts, MOUs, and SLAs
- Provide technical legal assistance to procurement practitioners in drafting and amending construction and service contracts
- Manage legal correspondence and initial responses in instances of contract breaches or legal disputes
- Provide specialized legal support to various business units within the department to ensure operational compliance
- Conduct legal research to support the interpretation of statutes and the application of administrative law.
