Minimum Qualification
- Basic R425 qualification (i.e.
- Masters / Degree in Nursing) plus a post-basic qualification in Nursing Education registered with SANC
Experience Required
4 years post-registration in Nursing Education and Clinical Training

Requirements
- Minimum of four (4) years appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration as a Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing
- Experience in Nursing Education (R118) is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate training programmes for nurses within the health establishment
- Provide mentoring and coaching to nursing staff to enhance clinical competency
- Coordinate the activities of the Clinical Education and Training Unit (CETU)
- Facilitate the implementation of the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Framework
- Act as a liaison between Nursing Education institutions and clinical nursing practice
- Provide skills updates and facilitate in-service training sessions
- Monitor, evaluate, and analyze training programmes to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective capacity building
- Manage the administration and reporting of teaching programmes
- Ensure efficient management of training resources and adherence to nursing legislation.
