Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Optimize clinical operations for Orthopaedics including ward management, operating theatre efficiency, and outpatient services
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective clinical care at Boitumelo Regional Hospital including mandatory after-hours and weekend coverage
- Lead clinical governance through regular audits, Morbidity and Mortality (M&M) reviews, and quality improvement initiatives
- Strengthen patient safety measures, medico-legal risk reduction, and compliance with National Core Standards
- Oversee the academic training of undergraduate and postgraduate students and participate in departmental research
- Manage unit resources, conduct staff performance appraisals, and promote professional discipline and development

Remunaration
- Grade 1: R2084754 - R2212680 PER ANNUM.
- Grade 2: R2279559 - R2492571 PER ANNUM ALL -INCLUSIVE PACKAGE CONSISTS OF 70% BASIC SALARY AND 30% FLEXIBLE PORTION THAT BE STRUCTURED IN TERMS OF THE APPLICABLE RULES, MEDICAL AID (OPTIONAL) EMPLOYEE MUST MEET THE PRESCRIBED REQUIREMENTS..
