Minimum Qualification

MBChB degree and MMED in Forensic Medicine or equivalent specialist qualification (NQF Level 9/10 to be confirmed)

Requirements

  • Grade 1: Minimum of 3 years appropriate experience as a Medical Specialist in Forensic Medicine after registration with HPCSA

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead and manage outreach, in-reach, and support services across the Free State province
  • Execute joint-staff mandates including service delivery, academic leadership, and administrative oversight
  • Oversee and facilitate undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training at UAH/UFS
  • Direct research initiatives, engaged scholarship, and clinical audits to monitor departmental efficacy
  • Perform mandatory commuted overtime and clinical governance as directed by the Head of School and CEO

  • Grade 2: R2841732 - R3016110 PER ANNUM ALL -INCLUSIVE PACKAGE CONSISTS OF 70% BASIC SALARY AND 30% FLEXIBLE PORTION THAT BE STRUCTURED IN TERMS OF THE APPLICABLE RULES, MEDICAL AID (OPTIONAL) EMPLOYEE MUST MEET THE PRESCRIBED REQUIREMENTS..
