Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide specialized GIS technical support and advisory services to provincial departments, municipalities, and external stakeholders
- Lead the development, coordination, and execution of strategic GIS projects across the province
- Oversee the architectural design, development, and ongoing maintenance of the Provincial Geo-database and integrated GIS website
- Render professional mapping and spatial analysis services to support provincial decision-making
- Ensure spatial data integrity and adherence to geomatics standards within the provincial administration
