- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
Requirements
- SA Qualified: None after registration with the HPCSA (inclusive of completed Community Service)
- Foreign Qualified: One (1) year relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage Waste Management protocols, ensuring proper handling and monitoring of general and healthcare risk waste
- Oversee Safety Health Environment Risk and Quality (SHERQ) management within the facility
- Monitor water quality through sample collection and results analysis
- Execute food control measures including premises inspection, food sampling, and staff training
- Coordinate vector control and pest management programmes
- Participate in disease surveillance as part of the outbreak response team and investigate outbreaks
- Monitor environmental health indicators and provide comprehensive reports to management
- Conduct occupational hygiene surveillance and pollution control activities.
