Minimum Qualification
Ambulance Emergency Assistant (AEA) / ECT / CCA / National Diploma or B-Tech in Emergency Medical Care plus current HPCSA registration (2026)
Experience Required
3 years (Post-HPCSA Registration) in Emergency Medical Services and Clinical Supervision

Requirements
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise all EMS activities and personnel during a designated shift
- Provide clinical patient management at an Intermediate Life Support (ILS) level or higher
- Manage human resources, maintain discipline, and oversee shift-based labor relations
- Analyze Patient Report Forms (PRFs) for quality and clinical accuracy
- Compile comprehensive management reports and ensure response time targets are met
- Oversee general office administration and complete trip authorities for staff
- Conduct and maintain rigorous checklists for EMS vehicles and medical equipment
- Coordinate with neighboring EMS stations and health facilities for optimal service delivery.
