- Ability to work under high-pressure emergency conditions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical fitness and ability to handle medical equipment.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Render emergency medical care and professional transportation of sick and injured persons according to HPCSA protocols
- Perform inter-facility transfers of patients between health institutions
- Manage basic administration including patient records, vehicle checklists, and log sheets
- Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of all medical equipment, emergency vehicles, and the base station
- Adhere to health and safety standards during emergency operations
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the EMS supervisor.
Salary Detail
Remunaration
- Grade 1: R187488 - R214368 PER ANNUM.
- Grade 2- 3: R217983 - R286521 PER ANNUM PLUS 13TH CHEQUE, HOUSING ALLOWANCE, MEDICAL AID (OPTIONAL, EMPLOYEE MUST MEET THE PRESCRIBED REQUIREMENTS..
