Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and provide inputs for technical and functional engineering norms and standards for provincial education facilities
- Oversee infrastructure projects managed by Implementing Agents to ensure compliance with engineering codes of practice and safety standards
- Conduct investigations into electrical installations and equipment to design and implement corrective technical measures
- Provide professional electrical engineering advice, including calculations, specifications, and technical drawings for infrastructure projects
- Compile engineering briefing documentation and technical specifications for new and maintenance projects
- Review innovative service delivery proposals for technical advisability, impact, and legality
- Perform research on new technologies and feasibility studies to optimize departmental geographical information and infrastructure systems.
