Key Responsibilities & Duties

Develop and provide inputs for technical and functional engineering norms and standards for provincial education facilities
Oversee infrastructure projects managed by Implementing Agents to ensure compliance with engineering codes of practice and safety standards
Conduct investigations into electrical installations and equipment to design and implement corrective technical measures
Provide professional electrical engineering advice, including calculations, specifications, and technical drawings for infrastructure projects
Compile engineering briefing documentation and technical specifications for new and maintenance projects
Review innovative service delivery proposals for technical advisability, impact, and legality
Perform research on new technologies and feasibility studies to optimize departmental geographical information and infrastructure systems.
