Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Drive and operate heavy-duty vehicles for the transportation of work teams, materials, and equipment
  • Perform daily physical inspections of vehicles including oil, fuel, tyres, and water levels
  • Detect and perform minor mechanical repairs or facilitate major repairs through proper channels
  • Report vehicle defects and maintenance needs timely
  • Accurately complete vehicle logbooks and trip authorizations
  • Interpret and follow operating manuals, service charts, and maintenance protocols
