Minimum Qualification

Grade 12 and a relevant NQF level 7 qualification in Public Management, Public Administration, or Monitoring and Evaluation as recognized by SAQA.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of departmental policies, strategic guidelines, and performance information procedures
  • Facilitate and coordinate comprehensive operational and strategic planning processes across the department
  • Direct and manage departmental monitoring and evaluation frameworks and organizational processes
  • Formulate and manage the directorate budget in alignment with strategic objectives and PFMA requirements
  • Lead departmental research initiatives, including commissioning and overseeing evaluation studies
  • Provide high-level guidance on the implementation of government policies and regulations
  • Ensure effective human resource management and staff empowerment within the Directorate.

Salary Detail

Remunaration

R1266741.per annum (level 13). The inclusive remuneration package consists of a basic salary, contribution to the Government Employee Pension Fund, medical fund and a flexible portion in terms of applicable rules. The successful candidate must enter into a performance agreement and sign employee contract.
