Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and oversee the implementation of departmental policies, strategic guidelines, and performance information procedures
- Facilitate and coordinate comprehensive operational and strategic planning processes across the department
- Direct and manage departmental monitoring and evaluation frameworks and organizational processes
- Formulate and manage the directorate budget in alignment with strategic objectives and PFMA requirements
- Lead departmental research initiatives, including commissioning and overseeing evaluation studies
- Provide high-level guidance on the implementation of government policies and regulations
- Ensure effective human resource management and staff empowerment within the Directorate.
