Minimum Qualification

NQF Level 7 qualification in HR Management Services, Public Management/Administration, or Business Management/Administration as recognized by SAQA.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead and oversee organizational design, restructuring, and review processes to ensure alignment with departmental mandates
  • Coordinate the Organizational Functionality Assessment (OFA) and optimize internal systems and processes
  • Facilitate business process engineering to enhance organizational efficiency and service delivery effectiveness
  • Spearhead the development, implementation, and monitoring of the departmental Human Resource Strategy and HR Plan
  • Drive the development and execution of the Employment Equity Plan in compliance with legislative frameworks
  • Oversee the administration and establishment control for personnel appointed under both the Employment of Educators Act and the Public Service Act.
