Requirements

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead the development and review of provincial Organisational Development (OD) and Job Evaluation (JE) policies and processes
  • Ensure provincial compliance and uniformity in the implementation of work-study standards
  • Preside over and coordinate Provincial OD and JE Committee sessions
  • Provide expert technical guidance to departmental heads regarding OD and JE unit operations
  • Direct comprehensive macro-level work-study investigations and benchmarking for generic provincial posts
  • Monitor the alignment of departmental structures with provincial strategic objectives
  • Facilitate the implementation of Organisational Functional Assessments (OFA) across all departments
  • Represent the province at National and Inter-Provincial OD and JE forums
  • Oversee the submission of Organisation Management Framework (OMF) reports to the DPSA
