Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and implement provincial policies for the procurement and management of textbooks and stationery
- Oversee the acquisition and distribution cycles of Learning and Teaching Support Materials (LTSM) to schools
- Manage school library services, including material development and utilization strategies
- Coordinate the inventory management, retention, and retrieval of textbooks at the school level
- Direct the budget, procurement, and contract management for LTSM service providers
- Monitor and evaluate the logistics of material delivery to ensure 100% coverage
- Provide technical guidance to schools on establishing functional resource centers
- Promote a culture of reading and support literacy-focused skills development among learners
