Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years' relevant Middle or Senior Managerial level experience in the built environment
- Extensive experience with the Infrastructure Delivery Management System (IDMS)
- Proven track record in water and sanitation project oversight
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Direct and support provincial and municipal infrastructure performance management frameworks
- Monitor and evaluate the financial management of provincial and local government infrastructure projects
- Oversee infrastructure planning portfolio management to ensure alignment with provincial growth strategies
- Monitor the execution of provincial and municipal infrastructure projects and programmes
- Support and oversee the operations, services, and maintenance of public infrastructure assets
- Manage the Directorate's human and financial resources to ensure departmental goal attainment
- Interpret financial ratios to assess the health and viability of municipal infrastructure investments
- Ensure intergovernmental alignment between National, Provincial, and Local spheres regarding infrastructure delivery
- Implement and enforce the Infrastructure Delivery Management System (IDMS) standards
- Provide strategic leadership in problem-solving and innovation within the built environment sector
