Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead the provincial strategy for ambulance service transformation and modernization
- Oversee the coordination, planning, and evaluation of Emergency and Forensic Medical Services
- Manage provincial non-emergency planned patient transport services (NEPTS)
- Ensure a high state of disaster management readiness and effective emergency communication systems
- Direct the operations of the EMS College to ensure quality training for all personnel
- Monitor and implement strategies to improve emergency response times and clinical outcomes
- Manage the directorate's financial resources and strategic planning in line with provincial objectives
- Supervise the provision and legal compliance of Forensic Pathology Services across the province
