Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Design, implement, and monitor programs to enhance economic capabilities of marginalized groups across green economy, mining, agriculture, tourism, and manufacturing
- Facilitate the implementation of economic empowerment charters across all provincial economic sectors
- Oversee and report on policies and interventions promoting women, youth, black-owned businesses, and persons with disabilities
- Initiate and implement revitalization programmes for rural and township economies
- Manage all resources within the Directorate and resolve Auditor General queries and findings
