Requirements
- Minimum of 9 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing post-registration
- At least 4 years of experience at a management level within Advanced Midwifery
- Valid driver's license
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Coordinate the Provincial Maternal and Neonatal Health program through strategic liaison with National Sub-Directorates and District sectors
- Lead the development of provincial strategic plans, clinical policies, and specialized protocols for maternal health implementation
- Provide expert technical support, professional advice, and clinical capacity building for healthcare personnel across the province
- Oversee the implementation of national and provincial health norms and standards within district facilities
- Execute financial management and budget oversight for the Maternal and Neonatal program
- Conduct high-level research on maternal health issues including CARMA, ESMOE, MSSN, HBB, PPIP, and MaMMAS
- Monitor and evaluate program impact to ensure continuous quality improvement in clinical outcomes
