- Proficiency in GRAP and GAAP accounting principles
- Advanced skills in policy development and organizational transformation
- Strong project management, change management, and stakeholder relationship skills
- Ability to lead digital and financial capacity-building initiatives
- Advanced MS Office proficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' junior management experience in a Financial Management environment
- Extensive experience with SAICA training regulations and assessment systems.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Review and update rotational and generic training plans, policies, and systems to ensure alignment with SAICA requirements
- Monitor and evaluate the assessment process, providing feedback to role-players and addressing non-compliance issues
- Maintain quality assurance of the SAICA Trainee Accountant Programme to ensure accreditation standards are consistently met
- Oversee the implementation of frameworks and policies specific to trainee accountant development
- Deliver specialized financial management training within the Public Sector context
- Manage the human, financial, and physical resources of the sub-directorate to ensure operational efficiency.
