Requirements
- 3-5 years' junior or middle management experience in a road safety programme implementation environment
- Valid Code B Driver's License
- Proficiency in both English and isiZulu
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead and manage the provision of regional road safety education and awareness programs
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the execution of strategic road safety projects across the region
- Develop and implement provincial policies and strategies aimed at reducing road fatalities and improving service delivery
- Manage the human and financial resources of the Road Safety component in compliance with the PFMA
- Facilitate community development and empowerment initiatives to foster a culture of road safety
- Conduct data analysis and research to identify high-risk areas and program effectiveness
- Coordinate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and capacity-building sessions with local communities
- Monitor and evaluate road safety standards and priorities to ensure alignment with National Road Traffic Regulations
