- Advanced project management in the built environment
- High-level analytical and planning skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational capabilities
- Professional report writing and computer literacy
- Valid driver's license and mobility
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience at junior management or Assistant Director level
- Experience specifically in the monitoring of infrastructure projects or programmes
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide strategic support for provincial infrastructure performance management and oversight
- Monitor and analyze provincial infrastructure financial management and expenditure patterns
- Offer technical guidance on infrastructure planning and portfolio management to provincial departments
- Oversee and provide directions for provincial infrastructure projects and delivery programmes
- Support and facilitate infrastructure capacity-building initiatives within the provincial sphere
- Ensure strict adherence to the Infrastructure Delivery Management System (IDMS) standards
- Monitor compliance with the Division of Revenue Act (DoRA) and Intergovernmental Relations Act
- Coordinate infrastructure reporting and data analysis for provincial treasury oversight
- Assist in the development of infrastructure delivery improvement plans
- Manage administrative functions and resource allocation within the sub-directorate
