Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage and architect the departmental ICT infrastructure and capacity plans in alignment with organizational requirements
  • Formulate and implement robust policies for server and network infrastructure management
  • Oversee the lifecycle management of software licenses to optimize utilization and reduce operational costs
  • Direct the management and maintenance of unified communication and telephony systems
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the secure network environment and server infrastructure
  • Ensure the continuous maintenance of network software, operating systems, and core applications
  • Lead the desktop support services unit to ensure optimal performance of end-user devices and computerized systems
  • Design, implement, and test ICT business continuity and disaster recovery strategies
  • Liaise with professional bodies and technology partners including CSIR, e-Gov, and Microsoft on emerging IT trends
  • Administer human, financial, and asset resources within the infrastructure unit
