Experience Required
5 Years (3 Years at Management Level) in Human Resource Development & Skills Research
Required Competencies & Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Human Resource Development (HRD) frameworks and policies
- Deep understanding of the SETA landscape and skills development legislation in South Africa
- Strategic leadership and project management capabilities
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder relations across government and academia
- Expertise in research methodologies related to human capital
- Knowledge of the PFMA and public service regulatory frameworks
- Valid driver's license (except for PWD)
Requirements
- Minimum of five (05) years' experience in Human Resource Development, Human Capital Investment & Research, or SETA environment
- Minimum of three (03) years' experience at Assistant Director or Junior Management level
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead the coordination and strategic implementation of the Limpopo Human Capital Investment Strategy (LHCIS)
- Manage and oversee provincial skills development initiatives and high-level strategic partnerships
- Direct sector coordination through the management of specialized meetings and workshops across the province
- Facilitate and manage collaborative relationships between SETAs, Institutions of Higher Learning, and private sector industries
- Conduct research to inform human capital investment decisions and identify provincial skills gaps
- Monitor and report on the progress of skills development projects against provincial targets
- Provide leadership and operational management to the unit's staff and resources
