- Manage the collection, processing, and administrative oversight of provincial demographic data
- Develop comprehensive data collection frameworks and methodologies to ensure demographic variable coverage
- Compile and produce annual reports on provincial demographic trends including population growth, age distribution, and migration
- Oversee social development research projects utilizing quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques
- Coordinate and provide quality control for multidisciplinary research teams
- Translate demographic research and statistical findings into actionable social development policy support
- Disseminate statistical reports to inform executive decision-making processes
- Implement communication strategies for the timely reporting of social statistics
- Lead capacity-building initiatives for staff and stakeholders in data analytics
- Foster strategic partnerships with academic institutions and national bodies like STATS SA.
