Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Conduct departmental needs analysis to identify critical skill shortages and training requirements
- Collaborate with Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) to monitor structured training implementation
- Oversee the end-to-end administration of internal and external bursary schemes
- Develop and coordinate strategic succession planning and career development frameworks
- Execute talent pipeline management to ensure long-term organizational capacity
- Implement Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and improved qualification processes in alignment with the HRD plan
- Lead the sub-directorate team through effective resource management and empowerment
- Ensure meticulous record-keeping and reporting on career development initiatives
