Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee administrative and coordination activities within the MEC's office to ensure seamless operational flow
  • Establish and maintain document tracking systems and databases for the Executive Council
  • Draft and quality-assure high-level correspondence, submissions, and cabinet memoranda
  • Manage registry services and ensure document classification adheres to MIS prescripts
  • Coordinate logistical support, procurement, and budget allocations for the executive office
  • Act as a strategic liaison between the MEC, internal stakeholders, and the Provincial Legislature
  • Monitor Executive Council decisions and track progress on mandated action items
  • Manage sub-directorate resources, including staff performance assessments and Personal Development Plans (PDPs)
