Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Render comprehensive clinical dental services across all health facilities in the district
- Perform dental procedures including extractions under general anaesthetics
- Manage patient referrals and ensure appropriate clinical follow-up
- Conduct oral health promotion and education for targeted groups (schools, old age homes)
- Implement oral health preventative programs and participate in screening activities
- Manage and analyze oral health data and information for reporting
- Oversee infection control and medical waste management within the dental unit
- Supervise subordinate staff, including performance management (PMDS) and skill development
- Travel to community clinics to provide decentralized oral health care
