Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee and ensure all installed dental equipment complies with national and international safety standards
  • Develop, monitor, and execute comprehensive preventative maintenance plans for dental technology across provincial health institutions
  • Coordinate and perform Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) testing for Dental X-Ray systems at prescribed intervals
  • Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults in specialized medical apparatus
  • Maintain technical operational readiness of dental units through systematic performance monitoring
  • Execute departmental engineering tasks with high autonomy and limited supervision
  • Ensure technical compliance with healthcare engineering regulations and clinical safety protocols
