• Diploma/Degree in Nursing.
• Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
• Additional qualifications in Nursing Education and Psychiatry Nursing Science.

7 Year in General Nursing and HAST Management

• Extensive knowledge of HAST (HIV/AIDS, STI, and TB) programme management
• In-depth understanding of TB management policies and treatment guidelines
• Proficiency in Information Management systems and IT tools
• Knowledge of Skills Development legislation and training procedures
• Understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
• Expertise in Infection Control procedures
• Strong strategic planning, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently under high pressure and willingness to travel.

• Coordinate and promote the implementation of HAST-related training and development
• Facilitate and oversee the development of operational or business plans to provide strategic clinical guidance
• Provide professional and technical support for the management of HIV/AIDS, STI, and TB programmes
• Maintain clinical standards and nursing practice norms to enhance healthcare status
• Develop and implement quality assurance programmes, clinical protocols, and guidelines
• Utilize Information Technology and management information systems to manage clinical data and service delivery
• Participate in inter-professional and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure efficient integrated healthcare
• Manage human and material resources in accordance with the PFMA and relevant health directives
• Oversee TB management and ensure adherence to all treatment policies and guidelines
• Facilitate clinical audits and quality improvement programs within the HAST directorate.
