Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Manage and prioritize patient care activities independently according to clinical protocols and specialized nursing standards
- Oversee the efficient utilization of unit resources and ensure functional readiness of medical equipment
- Implement and monitor patient care standards and quality improvement programs within the PHC unit
- Supervise junior nursing staff and support personnel to ensure high-quality patient care delivery
- Ensure strict compliance with Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) policies and health legislation
- Document and report patient safety incidents, unit deficiencies, and operational challenges
- Uphold Batho Pele principles and the Patient's Rights Charter while working with diverse patient populations
