Requirements

  • Relevant experience in Skills Development within the Public Service
  • Proven track record in conducting Skills Audits
  • Experience in Policy Development and Monitoring
  • Valid Vehicle Driver's License
  • Possession of an Occupationally Directed Education, Training and Development Practitioner (ODETDP) certificate

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Formulate, review, and evaluate HRD policies and directives to optimize departmental skills programs
  • Coordinate the department-wide rollout of training initiatives to ensure a high-performance workforce
  • Implement DPSA Skills Audit Methodology to identify and bridge technical and behavioral competency gaps
  • Execute quality assurance protocols on training interventions to ensure return on investment (ROI)
  • Direct unit resources and manage staff performance and discipline to maintain service standards

Remunaration

R468459 per annum, plus 13th Cheque, Housing Allowance, Medical Aid (Optional, Employee must meet the prescribed requirements.
