Experience Required

6 years (Post-Registration) in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering & Infrastructure Project Management

Requirements

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform final reviews and approvals/audits of new engineering designs for health facilities
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary design efforts and technology integration
  • Pioneer new engineering services and management methods within the department
  • Manage the execution of maintenance strategies and set technical standards/service levels
  • Oversee operational capital project portfolios to ensure effective resourcing and MTEF alignment
  • Allocate, control, and monitor departmental funds and expenditure
  • Manage risk through the compilation of risk logs and implementation of mitigation strategies
  • Provide high-level technical consulting to minimize engineering risks
  • Direct human resource development, motivation, and performance management (PMDS)
  • Ensure legal and operational compliance across the engineering lifecycle
