Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience at a Senior Managerial level (SMS) in industrial development
- Completion of Nyukela SMS Pre-entry Certificate
- Valid driver's licence
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide strategic leadership in promoting Maritime Services and Port operations through industry stakeholder participation
- Coordinate the development of Annual Performance, Operational, and Strategic Plans for the Chief Directorate
- Direct the implementation of the KZN Integrated Aerotropolis Strategy (IAS) and associated master plans
- Lead the implementation of strategies supporting Industrial Economic Hubs and Special Economic Zones (SEZs)
- Oversee the formulation and implementation of industrial policies and regulatory frameworks
- Manage the Chief Directorate's human resources, financial budgets (PFMA compliance), and physical assets
- Facilitate high-level stakeholder engagement across provincial departments and private sector organizations
- Drive research and knowledge management to support industrial economic growth
