Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee the strategic planning and coordination of provincial immovable property assets and accommodation requirements
- Lead the acquisition, registration, and disposal of provincial land and fixed property assets
- Develop and maintain provincial property management strategies and policy frameworks aligned with business plans
- Manage the immovable asset register and debtors registers to ensure financial and data integrity
- Direct the leasing and rental operations including contract management and revenue optimization
- Coordinate integrated property maintenance services including soft services like cleaning and gardening
- Identify revenue growth opportunities within the government property portfolio to optimize operational expenditure
- Formulate and manage the chief directorate's budget, human resources, and digital transformation initiatives
