Requirements

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide strategic leadership and management for the provincial Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP)
- Coordinate sector departments and public bodies to implement EPWP initiatives using labour-intensive measures
- Drive innovative empowerment initiatives and flagship community development programmes for poverty alleviation
- Enhance EPWP delivery capacity across provincial and local government spheres in the Free State
- Oversee the development and management of the EPWP Management Information System (MIS) for accurate reporting
- Manage grant and donor funding frameworks to ensure financial accountability for community-based projects
- Establish learning networks and best practices to improve work opportunity creation and asset creation
- Facilitate EPWP learnerships and support programmes for the development of SMMEs among beneficiaries
