Undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) in Public Management, Administration, Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, or relevant field

5 years at Senior Management level in Corporate Services and Public Administration

• Expert knowledge of the PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Public Service Act (PSA), and Public Service Regulations (PSR)
• Strategic understanding of the SA Constitution and Employment Equity Act
• Advanced skills in financial management and resource allocation
• Expertise in interpreting, evaluating, and communicating complex organizational information
• Proven ability in high-level negotiation, tact, and diplomacy
• Strong problem-solving, conflict management, and people-oriented leadership skills
• Proficiency in ICT governance and corporate support systems

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience at a senior managerial level (SMS) specifically within a corporate services environment
• Successful completion of the Senior Management Pre-Entry Programme (Nyukela certificate)

• Lead and oversee the provision of legal advisory services for the Department
• Manage the Information Communication and Technology (ICT) strategy and infrastructure
• Direct the provision of facilities management, security services, and operational support
• Oversee departmental communications, public relations, and event management services
• Coordinate strategic management services, including annual performance planning and reporting
• Manage the full Human Resource Management value chain, including HR Development and Labour Relations
• Oversee the Chief Directorate's resources, including the management of human capital, financial budgets, and departmental assets
