Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience at a Senior Management Level (SMS) within an Immovable Assets Disposal environment
- Extensive knowledge of Property Valuations and the MTEF
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide strategic direction for legislation, policies, and strategies regarding immovable asset disposal and rental housing support
- Lead the administrative, secretariat, and complaints management services for the Gauteng Rental Housing Tribunal
- Oversee the development of business processes for rental housing policy frameworks and provincial housing strategies
- Manage the legal transfer processes and immovable asset disposal governance structures
- Administer dispute resolution, mediations, adjudications, and formal tribunal hearing processes
- Oversee the maintenance of the case management system, mediation tracking tools, and file audits
- Manage appeals, rescissions, and variations of Rental Housing Tribunal rulings
- Identify and package completed township projects to develop a credible annual business plan for asset disposal
- Direct the human and financial resources of the Chief Directorate to ensure strategic target delivery
