Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience at Senior Managerial level
- Experience within asset/liability management, supply chain management, or financial management environments
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Monitor the strategic effectiveness and efficiency of asset management and supply chain processes
- Oversee the management and implementation of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects
- Lead the maintenance and optimization of transversal financial systems including LOGIS, BAS, PERSAL, and Information Systems
- Provide strategic leadership and management of resources within the Chief Directorate to ensure operational excellence
- Ensure departmental compliance with the PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and PPPFA
- Develop and implement internal policies for asset and liability management
- Execute high-level monitoring and evaluation of provincial financial practices
- Facilitate business communication and report writing for executive stakeholders
- Oversee personnel within the Chief Directorate including performance management and supervision
- Manage the integration of the Central Supplier Database (CSD) into provincial procurement workflows
